Nonsense is simply a revamped concept that I’ve played with on and off line since 2000. My first official site can be found here, with its terrible html design and even worse art. Now that I’ve linked to it and gone to look at it myself, I’m amazed that it is still there. I haven’t logged in to that account since at least 2004. I moved on from there to Keenspace for a short time, until RanJado (who runs the show here at Spiderforest) invited me to join his SpiderSpawn network. The site looked something like this, and ran from 2005 to 2009 (updating quite infrequently).
I have decided to start fresh with the site, since many of the storylines (if you could call them that) I now dislike, and many of the characters will not be returning. Many of them are based on real friends of mine, some of whom I rarely see these days and won’t be consulting about their roles in a comic strip (basically, I’m limiting the amount of movie checks I have to hand out when I’m rich).
Right now, Nonsense chronicles the not-s0-exciting adventures of DJ and me (Chris) as we work on our webcomic Fuzznuts. Most of these conversations have happened. I also plan on using this site as an idea dump for possible journal style comics or random ideas. We’ll see.
So, if you hang around, come back at least once a week and I’ll try to have something new. And hopefully better than the crap I’ve churned out in the past.
